1327 Clubhouse Drive, Aptos (Rio del Mar) is slightly less money and about 20% more space for $1,499,000.  Four bedrooms, 4 and a half baths (can you say “sleep over”?) and, again, so close to the beach you’ll be buying your Sunscreen in bulk!

217 Lamanda Drive, Rio del Mar is listed for only $899,000 and boasts not only a short stroll to the breakers, but three fireplaces!  3 beds, 2 baths, and 2450 feet of beach house.

At $869,000, the lovely single-story home at 118 Granada Dr., Rio Del Mar looks like a typical beach cottage. 

And the least expensive beach home of the group, listed at $849,000 is 634 Townsend Dr., Rio del Mar.  2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and set in a cute neighborhood.

Not quite the beach, but you can still feel the salt air and the offshore breezes is 247 Rio Del Mar Blvd., Rio del Mar.  three bedrooms, two baths, and a little over 1400 square feet for $795,000.

Sumner Woods is a cute little cluster of homes at the south end of Rio del Mar on the way to the Seascape Golf Club.  290 Dry Creek Rd., Rio del Mar is almost at the top of the hill with, on the right day, a view of the ocean waves.  It is on the market for $765,000 and has over 2000 feet of living space.

If you are a do-it-yourself-er and a little fixer, cleaner-upper is what you are seeking, take a look at 316 Townsend Dr., Rio del Marfor only $639,000.  It looks like it needs some loving attention, and it only has 2 bedrooms and one bath, but it puts you right where every seaside vacation wants to be.
