Seacliff is part of Aptos, California and is located on Monterey Bay in Santa Cruz County. At one time, Seacliff State Beach was a part of Rio Del Mar Country Club. but it is now operated under the California State Parks system. Seacliff Homes For Sale – Near Seacliff State Beach
It is difficult to talk about Seacliff without mentioning Seacliff State Beach. And one of that beach’s more prominent landmarks is the SS Palo Alto, also known as the concrete ship.

Today, it is only the hulk of the ship that remains.
But Mother Nature, the cleverest developer of all, has over the years turned the SS Palo Alto into a favorite habitat for many kinds of sea life. It fits nicely into the mix of surf fishermen, sun bathers, and visitors to its well-tended beaches.
Yesterday’s “roaring twenties” pleasure seekers have been replaced by vacationers looking for more family oriented entertainment. The SS Palo Alto is one more historical link to the area’s interesting past.
Seacliff State Beach is part of the California Parks and Recreation system. It is a perfect place for a leisurely stroll before a spectacular sunset or a family fun day at one of the picnic areas.
There is a visitor’s center with exhibits on local marine life, or you can gather fossils of prehistoric ocean creatures on the nearby cliffs.
